Botox
Botox temporarily relaxes muscles which would normally cause wrinkles to soften the appearance of these fine lines between the eyebrows, forehead and rest of the face.
Advanced Botox Treatment
Botox can also be used to combat excessive sweating, migraines and bruxism. For bruxism, Botox is injected into the masseter muscles of the face to reduce movement and prevent grinding the teeth. For excessive sweating, the injections can help to temporarily inhibit the over-active sweat glands.

Bio Identical HRT
Bio-identical hormones share the same chemical structure as naturally occurring hormones. This means that they fit hormone receptors better and have fewer off-target effects (side effects) compared to synthetic hormones. Non-bio conventional HRT generally uses synthetic hormones which are chemically different to those produced by the body. Generally the oestrogen used in HRT and BHRT are the same (estradiol) so there is no significant difference.
Bio-identical HRT (BHRT) is prescribed on an individualised basis for a specific client. In the main we would always suggest using a regulated form of these bio (or body) identical hormones as per teh British Menopause Society unless there is a specific need to use a compounded (unlicensed form). The personalisation of need whilst prioritising safe practice underpins our joint decision on how best to help improve your well-being.
Women’s Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is used to alleviate symptoms of menopause and protect long-term health by replacing falling levels of oestrogen and progesterone.
HRT can help with:
- Hot flushes and night sweats
- Sleep problems
- Mood swings, anxiety, and low mood
- Vaginal dryness
- Bone health support
Most women take a combination of oestrogen and progestogen. If you’ve had a hysterectomy, you may take oestrogen alone.
Who can take HRT?
You can usually take HRT if you’re experiencing menopause symptoms, but it may not be suitable if you:
- Have a history of breast, ovarian, or womb cancer
- Have a history of blood clots (you may need patches or gels instead of tablets)
- Have untreated high blood pressure
- Have liver disease
- Are pregnant
